How the collaboration works

The work is conducted entirely digitally. You send us the raw recordings of your vocals along with the instrumental or a click track. We communicate closely via email to ensure the direction of the editing matches your vision. Since we are based in Linz, we can arrange personal appointments for final approval if needed, although the actual editing takes place in our controlled studio environment.

We operate with a transparent feedback system. After the first version, you have the opportunity to request corrections, which we implement precisely within the provided revision rounds.

What you should prepare for a professional result

The quality of the result depends heavily on the source material. We recommend recording vocals in an acoustically optimized environment. For transmission to us, the following minimum technical requirements apply:

• Format: WAV or AIFF (no MP3s for editing).
• Sample Rate: Minimum 44,100 Hz.
• Bit Depth: Minimum 24 Bit.
• Headroom: Please leave sufficient peak margin (no clipping) so we can process the dynamics optimally.
• Organization: Each vocal part (Lead, Backings, Ad-libs) should be on its own, clearly named track.

What you receive at the end

After the process is complete, you will receive a package containing all edited files. We deliver:

• The final edited vocal tracks as WAV files in the original resolution.
• All corrected backing vocals and harmonies.
• A consolidated file per vocal group upon request.
• Brief documentation of the changes made, if relevant for the subsequent mix.

Delivery times and deadlines

The average delivery time for vocal editing is approximately 5 workdays. Since we maintain a limited monthly capacity to ensure the quality of every single track, we recommend booking early. In urgent cases, we offer a rush fee where the processing is prioritized. Exact dates are confirmed individually after receiving the material and the number of tracks.

What is NOT included in the service

Please note that vocal editing is a preparatory measure. The following services are not part of this specific package:

• Actual mixing (EQ, Compression, Reverb, Delay).
• Mastering of the entire song.
• Recording of the vocals in our studio.
• Songwriting or compositional assistance.

Pricing and Value Added Tax

Our prices are transparent and calculated fairly. For private individuals, the price includes the statutory Austrian VAT of 20%. For business customers (B2B), VAT is shown according to legal regulations, with payment due within 14 days of invoicing.
